Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best well-known for her performances as her roles as Dr. Sydney Hansen and Dr. Lane Hunter, respectively. She has also played the role of detective Stella Bonasera within the CBS drama series CSI: NY. In addition, she received high praise for her television debut role in the CBS soap Opera Guide Light playing Eleni Cooper. A few of her most memorable films are "15 minutes", "Percy Jackson And The Olympians The Lightning Thief" and "Snitch". According sources, she's working alongside Vlas & Charley Parlapanides (the pair who wrote the 'Immortals') for an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography "The Wheel of Life".
